Eugeñio Uk Jr

Mr. Eugeñio Uk Jr., 55, a proud native of Douglas Village in the Orange Walk District of Belize. He is happily married to his wife, Paula Uk, and together they have been blessed with three children and four grandchildren.

Mr. Uk dedicated over 35 years of his life to serving the people of Belize through the Belize Police Department. He enlisted in September 1990 and faithfully served in numerous communities across the country, including San Ignacio, Seine Bight Village, Placencia Village, Independence Village, Dangriga, Corozal Town, Libertad Village, and San Narciso Village. His long and distinguished career ended when he retired in January 2026.

Throughout his years in public service, Mr. Uk earned the rank of Ex-Corporal and became known for his unwavering commitment to fairness, equality, and kindness. He believed that every person deserved to be treated with dignity and respect, and serving the public with compassion was more than a duty—it was his passion.

Today, we recognize and celebrate Mr. Eugeñio Uk Jr. for his outstanding dedication, integrity, and invaluable contributions to the safety and well-being of the people of Belize. His legacy of service and commitment will continue to inspire those who have had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.
