AZENETTE ANN POOK

Azenette Ann Pook is a career Police Officer presently assigned to the post of Director of Training at the Belize Police Department. She works at Belmopan Police Headquarters. Currently, in a common law relationship and the proud mother of 3 adult children, 2 females and 1 male. Upon joining the Police department at the young age of 18 Ms. Pook was sent to work in Orange Walk Town her hometown. She was a Police Constable for 10 years before promoted to the rank of Corporal. After her promotion, she was placed at the Traffic Branch in Orange Walk. 3 years after serving as a Corporal was promoted to SERGEANT and was transferred to Belize City where she worked at the Domestic Violence Unit and then Special Branch, Belize City. After working 2 years in Belize City, she was transferred to Special Branch Headquarters, BELMOPAN. From there Aznette went to Benque Viejo as the Sergeant in Charge of Prosecution and Station Sergeant. She served as a sergeant for 9 years and was finally promoted to Inspector in 2011 and transferred to Belmopan Headquarters. She has performed in various capacities at Belmopan Headquarters, including i/c of the Dangerous Goods office, Deputy Head Special Branch and Staff Officer for the Commander of Operations.
