Cercia Marcia Orellano Kelly
Cercia Marcia Orellano Kelly was born on October 7, 1971, in the quiet and welcoming community of Esperanza Village, to Teresa Crawford and Miguel Orellano. From an early age, she embraced the value of education, beginning her academic journey at St. Francis Xavier RC School in her home village and later continuing her studies at Belmopan Comprehensive School.
On June 27, 1992, Cercia began a new chapter in life when she married Hewitt Albert Kelly, a union built on love, laughter, and strength. Together, they raised two wonderful daughters, Danelly Marie and Danielle Aliyah Kelly, who remain her pride and joy. In recent years, her heart has grown even fuller with the arrival of her beautiful granddaughter, Brielle Marie Kelly, whose presence has brought a renewed spark of happiness to her life.
Cercia's professional journey began in February 1990 at the Central Statistical Office, where she worked as a Compiler. Two years later, she transitioned to the Ministry of Education, Planning Unit, starting as a Data Entry Operator. Through hard work, perseverance, and continuous growth, she advanced from Secretary II to Secretary I, and now proudly serves as a Senior Secretary within the Ministry.
Looking back, Cercia remains grateful for the opportunities, challenges, and blessings that have shaped her. Her journey has been one of steady progress, unwavering commitment to service, and above all deep love for her family and community.
