DALIA MANZANILLA

Dalia Cristina Manzanilla, is a resident of Corozal Town. Currently, she is employed by the Ministry of Health and Wellness at Corozal Community Hospital as a Nurse Specialist Grade II (Registered Nurse Midwife) in the Maternity Unit, also have additionally fulfilled the role of acting Maternity Unit Manager. In September 1987, Dalia enrolled in the Professional Nursing Program at Belize School of Nursing. In July 1990, she received her Registered Nurse License. As a novice nurse, she began nursing practice at the Belize City Hospital in the Casualty Department. In October 1990, she was transferred to the Orange Walk Hospital, now known as the Northern Regional Hospital. Then, in May 1990, was transferred to the Corozal Hospital, presently referred to as the Corozal Community Hospital. In August 1996, Mrs. Manzanilla enrolled in the Professional Midwifery Program at the Belize School of Nursing. Unfortunately, due to a family member’s medical issues, she had to postpone her final examination. Consequently, in 1998, she successfully completed her final examination and obtained her Professional Midwifery License. Since then, and for many subsequent years, Dalia have faithfully provided her dedicated service to the Corozal Community, finding immense satisfaction.
