Desmond Mark Francisco

Desmond Mark Francisco, born in Dangriga Town, began his career in law enforcement at the young age of 18, when he joined the Belize Police Force on August 26, 1989.
Throughout his policing career, Inspector Francisco has served in various locations across the country, including Orange Walk, Dangriga, Belmopan, Punta Gorda, and Corozal. His areas of specialization have primarily been in the Intelligence Unit, Criminal Investigation, and Community Policing where his dedication to public safety and relationship-building has been most impactful.

He currently serves as the Deputy Officer Commanding the Orange Walk Police Formation, with responsibility for Operations.
In addition to his professional accomplishments in policing, Inspector Francisco holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry and serves as the Pastor of the Orange Walk Nazarene Church. His life reflects a balance of duty to both country and faith.

Inspector Francisco encourages fellow police officers to remain hardworking, disciplined, honest, and to avoid alcohol consumption. He also urges them to live a spiritual life, always putting God first in their personal and professional journeys.
